Tanveer Mohammad Appointed as New Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Grameenphone
Grameenphone has appointed Tanveer Mohammad as the new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO), effective November 1. Prior to this role, Tanveer served as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Asia Integration at Telenor Group, as well as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Telenor India, and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Grameenphone, along with other senior roles across Telenor’s business units.
Announced in a press release on Monday, Grameenphone highlighted Tanveer’s extensive experience of over 25 years in the telecom industry. He brings a comprehensive background in business environments, technological integration, regulatory frameworks, climate and sustainability initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and business development.
Welcoming Tanveer to his new role, Grameenphone’s CEO Yasir Azman stated, “Tanveer’s extensive expertise and leadership will further empower our journey of innovation and progress.
